As Neighbors’ Transaction Coordinator, Greg uses his laser-detail focus to help ensure all our paperwork is where it needs to be.
Gregory grew up in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon before moving to San Francisco in his late teens. In SF he worked in a hair salon, tech, and eventually Real Estate development, property management, as well as commercial and residential sales.
Gregory moved to Portland in 2011 seeking the relaxed Portland vibe. While volunteering at OHSU Doenbecher children’s hospital emergency room Gregory met many of Portland houseless youth and learned about the challenges they faced. Gregory moved his volunteer work to a local LGBTQ youth homeless services program where he saw social workers struggling with connecting youth, landlords, and funding sources. After 3 years of volunteering with New Avenues for Youth, Gregory began a full-time position where he worked full time for 5 years helping youth become securely housed. Gregory also helped start a transitional homelessness prevention program for youth aging out of Oregon’s foster care system.
Gregory is in love with our uniquely beautiful landscape and often takes the short ride out to our beautiful Columbia River Gorge to photograph a breathtaking vista. In his free time, he takes his photography to the sky as a drone pilot. He is also the proud Guncle to five beautiful nieces and nephews.
